Grey Gardens, a luxury lifestyle brand driven by a passion for elegant self-expression and family legacy, recently introduced Grey Gardens Wines and released their first rosé. Created by the Bouvier Beale 4th generation family to honor Big & Little Edie Beale and their beloved Grey Gardens Estate, Grey Gardens Wine brings a taste of European tradition and beauty to the Hamptons. The Grey Gardens Rosé is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (40%), and Cabernet Franc (20%) and is produced in Cutchogue, Long Island, NY, from 100% Long Island grapes grown in established vineyards on the North Fork. The Long Island resembles that of the famous French Bordeaux region, making the perfect home for growing the grapes of the Grey Gardens Rosé.
“Grey Gardens” is the title of the 1975 documentary that follows Edith Brooch, known as “Little Edie”, throughout her later years. It was during this time that she lived with and cared for mother at their family’s East Hampton estate, Grey Gardens. Throughout the 1930’s and 40’s, Edith was established as the “it girl” of East Hampton and New York City. Her genuine and playful self-expression charmed society and is what continues to inspire Grey Gardens today. Through Grey Gardens, Eva Marie Beale, founder and family member, combines her love for Little Edie’s eclectic style with her own distinct style. Grey Gardens is a passion project of love and legacy, and one that Eva hopes to pass down to her children and theirs for generations to come.
