Integrating florals and other elements of nature into our daily lives is known to improve our wellbeing. Recently, Artist Nancy Blum completed 7 large scale mosaics in the 28th Street and Lexington station.
The mosaics are titled "Roaming Underfoot" which features 7 flowers that can be found in Madison Square Park. The blooms featured include Red Buds, Magnolias, Hellebores, Witch Hazel, Daffodils, Hydrangea, and Camellia all of which are suitable for the climate conditions of the city.
These beautiful mosaics bring the beauty from fresh blooms to mass audiences in all seasons. We love the artists working to decorate our city!
